Boring Bars

Boring bars for CNC lathes. Solid carbide mini bars in 3/8" and 1/2" shank for small bores, damped anti-vibration bars in 20 mm and up to 2" for deep ones. Prices on every product page - no quote needed.

Rule of thumb: the shortest bar that clears the depth, the largest shank the hole allows. A steel shank chatters past about 4×D, solid carbide holds further out, a damped bar reaches 7–10×D.

Every bar needs a holder and an insert. On anti-vibration bars the cutting head is ordered separately and sets the minimum bore and the insert.
